    Derived from Apothecary and Community,
Apo:Co is a creative connections networking hub that seeks to foster collective creative healing. Influenced by 3rd spaces, the share economy and the cost of living. Apo:Co aims to promote the development of local hubs using a flexible branding package and framework.

The concept being that this non for profit could supply creative groups with a framework and online platform to encourage community, shared learning and visibility.
Apo:Co’s goal is to build networking and collective growth across local creative communities.

    • CIRCULARITY EXPO

Passion project and not created in consultation with businesses
Additional collateral for a research project, the Circular Economy Expo is inspired by the lack of popular consensus and need to refocus pressure from the individual towards promoting community and unity.

The goal of the Circular Economy Expo is to encourage networking and communication between corporations and everyday people through its serious yet playful branding; currently divided on isometric islands, this expo encourages us as individuals to join together, learn and share for collective and longer-lasting action.

    • ART SCENE

Passion project and not created in consultation with this business
My first introduction project to web layouts and user interface design, this project is a rebrand, website map revision and MVP figma website design for the Sydney art supplies store The Art Scene which I use for printmaking supplies and framing.

The new “Art Scene” logo is framed by a corner protector "A" which is a visual reminder of their unique selling point, their custom framing service.
Their palette is also refined by a swatching the original red brick facade (with a slight hue adjustment).

    • NOMRISH

Nomrish is an original concept application design which incentivises users to maintain focus and motivation by accumulating in game points for their pet companion by completing daily tasks.
Inspired by personal experience and driven by research, Nomrish’s minimalist and nostalgic pixelated interface paired with ease of learnability is a refreshing solution in the sterile productivity app market.

Targeting younger users with low motivation, ADHD and/or struggling with mental health, the use of this approachable and customisable app eases users into the process of building healthy habits.

    • TOTW

“Tales of the World: Gruff” is an animation pitch bible designed for JMC Animation student Talinn Reyes.
Designed to capture character inspirations, world building, episodes and world map, we colour coded our character sections in line with costume and personalities of Talinn’s vibrant design, continuing immersion throughout the document without need for too frequent chapter breaks.

Created entirely on Figma for the ease of collaboration with Bailey McNamara, we had 3-4 review sessions before handing off the file, page templates and logos to the animator to finish in their timeline.

    • EPKS

A collaboration with music students at JMC, I was responsible for project managing myself and 2 other students in our development of 8 artists’ visual identities.

Feedback sessions and file sharing was coordinated through my templates on Miro with our clients, and then organised and assigned through Figma.
Led by Andrew Barnum, this studio was a great insight at an early stage in our degree, to managing multiple clients under tight deadlines.

    • BEHIND THE PROCESS

Detach, Behind the Process” is a 30 page book layout created in late 2021. It shares my process with others and aims to introduce the versatile and accessible method of monoprint.

Detach explores different techniques, presents a toolkit, tutorial and insight to my practice through this portfolio book. I hope to better document, collaborate and share the practices of the wonderful people in my printmaking community.

    • ART DIRECTION

While studying I took an elective which crossed departments with JMC’s FTV course and discovered a new interest in art direction for film. In this class I learnt to do script breakdowns, create art department budgets, pitch concepts, create floor plans, croquis, concept art and build scale models.

Pictured are some of my set concepts for one of my collaboration projects with Jinsol Seong (who managed costume) for our gritty, cyberpunk adaptation of Hayao Miyazaki’s Howl’s Moving Castle which draws on the movie adaptation’s heavier themes of war, politics, class and self love.
