about

Eliza Gwynne (b.1999) is a Sydney based designer and printmaker.

Gwynne completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts majoring in printmaking - at the National Art School in 2020. Three monoprint works exhibited in the BFA Graduate Exhibition (from the series detach) were acquired for the school's archive.

My art practice draws together a admiration of photography and architecture through meticulous, carved studies of fleeting experiences and environments. My monoprint and book art works are a more abstract; a sentimental patchwork of vague dreamscape memories with hidden storytelling.

In 2025 Eliza will graduate from JMC with a Bachelor of Visual Communications.

While my artwork has felt true to my expression at this stage of life, I have found a new voice and passion through designing for others. I found that working on design projects in collaboration with others has pushed me; encouraged experimentation and testing I otherwise wouldn’t have explored in isolation on deeply personal projects. I’m excited to use my technical skills as a designer to help clients better communicate and achieve their goals and grow with them.

Sales of Woodblock Prints:

Most woodblocks exhibited here are available for sale.
(t.n. “edition 1-5 unavailable” in italics indicates that all other editions made are available).
Feel free to contact me through the above platforms if you have any questions!

(I’m preparing an update to the price listing document for this website)

I’d also be happy to provide a quote to get framing done on your behalf.
Because some papers are very fragile this is recommended for works on rice paper, especially if requiring shipping.
